Field Trips

Visiting a farm is a great way to learn about science, nutrition and biology in a fun, hands-on environment. We love to welcome groups of happy people to our farm! We offer field trip packages for school groups and a customized group trip package for all others.  School field trips are available Monday through Thursday 9:30 and 11:30 am and Fridays at 9:30 from early September to late October. Althrough field trips are scheduled for one to one half hours visitors are encouraged to stay longer if they wish.

School Groups

Discover how pumpkins grow. Feed our ducks, meet and greet AUTUMN our Mini Horses, Face painting and small craft, And enjoy a hayride out to our pumpkin patch.    Christmas wonderland (details will follow)

Some important facts to know:

  • There’s a $75 minimum for all school field trips.

  • Teachers, chaperons, and parents of school field trips may accompany for free.

  • We start taking field trip reservations in early-August for the fall season.

  • We have plenty of picnic tables, so you can bring your lunch and eat before or after your trip.

  • We accept cash, check or credit card. Please have your single group payment ready when you arrive at the farm for your trip.

School Field Trips (Ages 5 and up)

Our 1 1/2 hour guided tour is perfect for elementary and middle school students.. A tour guide leads each group through the farm and teaches them about, pumpkins, Mini horses, ducks  and more.

Children get to:

  • Ride the hay wagon and take a tour of the whole farm

  • Visit the petting zoo and feed the animals

  • Face painting and small craft

  • Eat a doughnut and drink some fresh apple cider

  • Take home a mini-pumpkin

Cost: $10.50 per child

Preschool Field Trips (Ages 4 and under)

A little field trip for our littlest visitors. This field trip is only 1 hour long and designed to keep the children active and happy.

Children get to:

  • Ride the hay wagon

  • Visit the petting zoo and feed the animals

  • Face painting /small craft

  • Eat a doughnut and drink some fresh apple cider

  • Take home a mini-pumpkin

Cost: $8.50 per child
